This vacation home is located within a narrow lot which extends from the street to the lake shore. Taking advantage of the lot's depth, the design consists of a main house and an accesory building to answer the programmatic needs of a family of four. The modest living spaces are oriented towards the water.
Although the main house sits further away from the street, a deliberate entry path is created through the connection of the side porches of the two buildings by way of a pergola. A shared yard between the buildings provide a more private and sheltered garden within an otherwise open lake community.
